Contact Amber Odyssey

One inbox, one or two business days, and the four details that decide whether a trip question can be answered properly the first time.

Mail to Amber Odyssey reaches one shared inbox at hello@amberodyssey.com, and a person answers within two business days - faster in the week before a departure. Say in the first line whether this is a new trip, a change to something already booked, or a question about an article.

What to include

  • Dates you can move and dates you cannot.
  • Where you are flying from, and how many people are travelling.
  • The one thing the trip must deliver: a birthday, a marathon, a week of doing nothing.
  • Budget per person, or the range you are working inside.

For a corporate brief, add headcount with roles and who signs off changes. For a correction to something published here, name the page and the line; those go into the queue ahead of everything else.

Before you write

Planning fees and the way the desk works are set out on the About page, and the Start Here page lists the articles worth reading before the first call. If you already know the shape of the trip, send it as four bullet points; a short brief gets a useful reply faster than a long story.

Corporate and group enquiries work the same way: dates, headcount, cap per head. The sequence that holds up is described in corporate travel planning without the chaos.

After the first reply

The first reply either settles the question or lists the details still missing before it can be answered, and it says plainly which of the two it is. A trip this desk does take on moves to a call next; a trip it does not gets that in the first message rather than three exchanges later. What the desk covers and what stays with you is written out on the About page.
