Fun Fun Fun at the Windstar Summer Celebration and Mini EARTHcamp! Windstar members and volunteers enjoyed a great weekend on the Windstar land doing a multitude of work projects as well as hosting a group of 15 girls at a Mini EARTHcamp! Windstar VISION Newsletter Going Green! We are proud to announce that our quarterly Windstar Vision newsletter can now be accessed on our website for your convenience! In a world that is finally becoming 'green and planet friendly', as John Denver imagined when he co-founded The Windstar Foundation back in 1976... it is an appropriate time for us to make our Vision newsletter paperless as well. By making your newsletter available online, we can include more information, more member stories, more photos, and more informative articles for you as well. We hope that you will agree that an e-newsletter is another step towards 'walking our talk' here at Windstar. We are working to follow John's credo: "You do what you can do, I'll do what I can do. Together we can make a world of difference." Your contributions to the Vision Newsletter are always welcome! For those who wish to request printed newsletters, instructions are on the postcard notices... but we encourage members to utilize the online newsletter. EARTHcamp It is our intent that everyone who attends Windstar Foundation's EARTHcamp will develop a love and respect for the Earth that will last a lifetime. Connection Groups All around the world, Windstar Connection groups are taking action in creating a peaceful and sustainable environment. Environmental Studies Scholarships The Windstar Foundation awards two $500 scholarships for qualified undergraduates entering their junior or senior year of college, as well as one $1000 scholarship for graduate students entering their second year of graduate school. DEDICATE A PAVING BRICK For $100 or more, DEDICATE A PAVING BRICK, selecting the message of your choice to be inscribed on the brick and placed as part of the walking path to the "Spirit" statue.
